December 10, 2006- Slide show at the Old Courthouse; book signing
at the Jail Museum,
Mt Holly, New Jersey

No
one can say the slide show was off the wall. Actually, it was shown ON the wall,
right above the judge's chair.

These
people are looking at each other because someone asked a question; not because
they are confused...I think.
On
the right is Andy Sahol, Ellis Parker's grandson. He is working on a
Presidential pardon for his grandfather. No one ever pardons authors.
I
love signing books; it's so much easier than writing them.
After
the slide show, enthusiastic readers gather to ask the one question that is on everyone's mind:
"Do you validate parking?"
The
Eagles beat Washington 21-19, so we both had a good day!
ANOTHER
Parker relative? Well, he did have a big family.

Michael
Melsky stopped by. He has a website and discussion board devoted to the
Lindbergh case, as well as an extensive file of Lindbergh documents.
Michael helped me out with some of the research in the book and is one of the
most knowledegable Lindbergh case people around; not to mention one of the
tallest!
